Nothing Sucks Launches at Former Ziggy’s Kielbasa House in Leander, TX Bringing Back Hot Food

Are you missing Ziggy's traditional Polish flavors? North Austin’s beloved family corner of Polish comfort food reopens, serving hot food, for one epic day. On Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 11 AM to 4 PM, the former Ziggy’s Kielbasa House in Leander transforms into a pop-up celebrating the launch of Nothing Sucks—a playful new apparel brand built on the idea that two negatives can combine to spark something positive.

A Family Legacy

After six wonderful years serving authentic Polish kilebasa, pierogi and smiles to the North Austin area, the Szymczyk family closed Ziggy’s Kielbasa House to focus on family time with the kids. In its place, Nothing Sucks brings back the unique combination of our home made Polish flavors, in the form of Ziggy's Kielbasa Burger.

What’s Happening at the Pop-Up?

• Brand Debut: Free stickers and wristbands (while supplies last)! Shop Nothing Sucks’ tees, hats and more featuring the negative-word mash-up that turns frowns upside-down.

• FREE Polish Happy Meal with Purchase: Buy any Nothing Sucks shirt, sweatshirt, or flag, and enjoy a complimentary Ziggy’s Kielbasa Burger—complete with a ¼-pound smash patty of Ziggy’s fresh kielbasa, Podlawski Polish cheese, tangy sauerkraut and mustard on a buttery brioche bun, with a side and a drink.

• Last-Chance Taste: If you think “Nothing Sucks” actually sucks (we won’t hold it against you), stop by anyway and grab a standalone Kielbasa Burger for just $6.
